We trust in the name of the Lord our God

I took a home test yesterday morning just to make sure that my cycle means what we think it does. It came back negative. My cycle was not only late this month, but unusual ( sorry if this is too detailed, I wish someone had told me what to expect afterwards so I'll share here.) It seems to me that the iodine is still making it's way out of my fallopian tubes as the color was much darker. The cramping and nausea is still there. That's what got our hopes up so high, as that would explain 2 weeks of sickness. I overdid it on Saturday and as a result couldn't get through a shower yesterday morning without doubling over crying with the cramping. I went back to lie down and slept for another 3+ hours (on top of the 8 I had already gotten). I just don't seem to know my body these days. I have an appointment with my primary care physician. I also put a call in this morning to my obgyn to see if this is normal after having an HSG and maybe just no one told me.

I missed church which I really needed yesterday. Billy sat with me after he got home from church, we read, prayed and had our own communion.

I just got a call back from the obgyn's office, who "doesn't want to get my hopes up" but these symptoms aren't from the HSG. And sometimes when you're pregnant, your first cycle can get wacky and it could be too soon for the pregnancy test to come back positive. *deep breath* She said if it made me feel better, keep track of the information and try another test at the end of the week.

Some trust in .... we trust in the name of the Lord our God.

I'll update more later after the dr's appointment.

My doctor says it's an infection. I remember from some of the paperwork from the HSG there was a single digit possibility of one. Dr Rogers asked some personal questions, did a pregnancy test which came back negative and poked on me. She prescribed two antibiotics, a pain med and something for the nausea. She also graciously filled out both forms for both the infertility specialist and the Children's Home. On we go......

I'm so sorry, Lori. Chad and I will continue to pray. It really stinks when your body isn't cooperating. I am so sad that you are going through this.
