Ten on Ten

Daniel up at 6.am, so we previewed a recent purchase until Matthew woke up

Mommy's breakfast

My breakfast buddies

play time racing their big rig trucks
Learning for the week. We read our books during meal and snack times
(Except for dinner when Daddy gets home, then we talk about our day)

Snack time talking about Jesus and his 12 friends

Some random love initiated by Matthew, favorite part of my whole day!

We got dressed and played at a friend's and did a porch pick up on some summer clothes for Daniel. $5 for all three :-)
Boys are napping so mommy got to watch her show

Mommy plays a game

Daniel woke up first and we had snack time.

We also received daddy's birthday gift in the mail that I ordered.
Since it's not for a couple more weeks and he looks at this, no can do on a picture ;-)

Play time for Daniel

Checking out the tablet

BOZ time

Easy dinner night since my own coughing woke me up 4 times and Daniel woke up early. Daddy came home and played with the boys so I could get dinner on the table. I got a late start handling some strong emotions from the boys

Matthew's couch cushion creation

Night cups and off to bed for the kiddos :-)
I just realized Billy nicely dodged being in pictures this month.....

December Ten on Ten

I missed a couple of months in there with a busier schedule, but I definitely wanted to capture December since it's a glimpse of our Christmas fun.

The day started with our first dusting of snow

Our little friend A came for the day. We watch her three days a week.
Her mommy is one of my dearest friends. We love her!

Once the boys woke up, we had breakfast and read our Christmas book for the day

After breakfast, I introduced the bible story for the week, David & Goliath
I have super cute video on my cell on Matthew and I reenacting the battle. I'll have to figure out how to get there on here!

Matthew with one of his stones as David.
We watched the Veggie Tales Dave and the Giant pickle this morning too.
Daniel reading a musical Christmas book. He gravitated towards it on his own :-)

Play time for everyone in between 3 naps, 3 meals and 3 diaper changes

Talking about our Jesse Tree ornament for the day, Ruth.
This is so sweet that you and your girls made this together Jessica :-)

Christmas plates that I just thought today to change out

Lunch time was spent reading kindness. We pointed out acts of kindness the rest of the day

Kindness reading

Super hero, Larry Boy to the save the day

Smoothie with our dinner

Our little friend's day

Our week ahead for learning fun. It's week #16 of 36

Preparing pork chops and scalloped potatoes for dinner while all three napped

Ten on Ten

I'm doing my Ten on Ten a bit differently this month for a few reasons. First, we were on vacation so these aren't an hour apart. Second, the second half of the day Matthew came down with strep throat. Third, I'm late as it is and I want to get the post up. Last, I finally found a collage website I like and wanted to use it. There are ten pictures on August 10th so that should count, enjoy!

We just got home from a trip to see Billy's parents. They live in a very small town in New Mexico. This very small zoo was two towns away, but worth it for the boys at their ages. Due to the small size we got closer to the animals than if it would have been a big city zoo. From the smiles, squeals and excitement, I would say it was a hit for them :-)
