Highlights of December:

Advent activities with the Jesse Tree, Daily Christmas books and Nativity

Pictures of Matthew this month include either a cape and the request to be called Larry Boy, 

his favorite super hero

OR

He has the drum with the request of being called Aaron from the Drummer Boy

He can recite the story of the Nativity and learned several Christmas songs this year.

Daniel is starting to say more audible words and really is enjoying being read to. He brings us books several times a day now :-) He also got his incisors in very painfully over Christmas.

We had a White Christmas!

November Highlights in order:

Matthew turning 3

Made our first gluten free Thanksgiving spread from scratch.

We did a daily Thanksgiving book for two weeks leading up tot Thanksgiving 

Matthew's is starting to articulate more prayers on his own. We focused on daily saying thank you to God for something during those times.

Definitely memorable, but not fun was that all four of us were sick at the same time. No fun at all!!

I was able to see my precious friend Amy and her daughter, which is such a rare joyous treat!

We started our Christmas Book a day tradition for the first year.

We got the Christmas tree up and went to our downtown's Christmas Celebration

My sister got married and we celebrated Matthew's 3rd birthday that's coming up

Highlights from September 2012:

Started watching sweet baby Abby a few days a week

Extended family came in town for my Mother in Law's 70th birthday

Starting up preschool for the year has thrown my regular posts off. Here are the August daily pictures. Most of last month was a blur of strep, stomach flu, ant bites and travel. We did start preschool on the 27th with lots of fun. Matthew moved up to a big boy bed and Daniel went to one nap a day :-)

It's such a special time with two little boys in our home. Matthew is asking more what's that and having conversations. Daniel is growing and so happy. When they laugh and connect well together, my heart just melts.
