I enjoy Texas. It's always been home to me. I enjoy the fact that people stay home when there's ice. I enjoy as a friend said "an unexpected present of a day". Billy went in a couple of hours late himself so we got to spend a bit of time together. I left the house spending 15 minutes to go 1/2 a mile. After my car slid three times beside a car that fish tailed twice I turned back home. I was able to work on what I had planned to do over the weekend before everything happened. I finished it, I thought I wouldn't after everything happened, but I did! I can't tell you how excited I am to give this gift. After delivery I'll post pics of my latest pride and joy. I then (yeah!!) got to work on somethings I had in mind for Christmas projects that I was sure I would have to do for next year. I also did some prepwork for the cookie party. I have to admit the party was initially Billy's idea, the cookie part was mine. I'm very excited about decorating while we enjoy goodies on Saturday :-)
I appreciate the phone calls/ email/ fb messages, blog kindness, mailed cards etc. over the last few days. I'm honored by your compassionate understanding hearts. Thank you for acting on God's prompting to reach out.
For everyone that's going to start traveling for Christmas to be with your families, please be safe!
