As of this evening, we are completely out of the old house :-) It's been a busy last couple of weeks. We are so blessed to have the opportunity to stay with some dear friends from our church who have a spare apartment above their garage. Thank you Donna & Gerry! I have pictures ... somewhere. I was just glad to be hooked back up this evening. I told Billy I was going through withdrawals to see what what was going on in blog land. This really is such a blessing to have this connection to others. We have the closing scheduled for 1 pm on Wednesday. We are so glad the lady who first put a contract on the house back in April ended up being able to sell her house so she could buy ours.
Sweet friends came over on Saturday morning, early to help us get everything in storage. We are glad we had everything in boxes as well as starting as early as we did. Because first, it was very hot outside and second, the A/C went out (again). The warranty people were out there today and replaced the motor this time, so we pray the owner doesn't have any trouble with that. Thank you to Sarah, Ben, Mary, Brent, Shawnda, Jonathan, Miranda, Chad, Mike, Katy and Michael for coming and helping us move, we are truly blessed and appreciative of your efforts :-)) Everything was in the storage unit by noon. We had lunch with Katy and Michael and then went to the new apartment and spruced up for dinner and a movie for Michael's birthday. Sunday I was sure my bible was at the old house, so we got ready for church and headed over there first, only to get there and remember, no it really did make it's way to the apartment with us. Tonight I made a usual Turnbow dinner (we had frozen stuff all last week due to the kitchen being packed) after cleaning the house and it felt more normal this evening.
The house has been very good to us and we have some very precious memories. That is where Billy got down on one knee washed my feet and proposed to me in the living on the couch.
That's where we came home from our honeymoon to. We have celebrated three anniversaries there. We also have countless memories there as friends with parties. We pray the house continues to be a blessing to her.

Congratulations on your move! I'm sure you are excited to get into your new home, but how nice to have a little place to stay with friends while you wait. It sounds like the perfect situation!
:-)
