Getting Closer

Today has been filled with God's plans. Mine was to rest from this first full week at work. God's plan was to have two showings on our house starting at 9:45 am. So as a result, Billy and I went shopping for work clothes, the grocery store and mailed off the adoption profile. We scanned everything in so we can print off another copy should the need arise, also I want to use that as the starting point for a baby book. We had tried to mail off the profile last weekend but everything was closed for the holiday. Other God timing news is that we received an offer on the house last night!! We are VERY excited. It's a full list price offer from the same lady we had the original contingency offer back in April. She was able to get an offer on her house. Based on the showings today (same person came twice) our Realtor says another offer could be coming our way. We did the first walk through with the builders on Thursday and this development would pave the way for that house to become a reality in our future. So here is where the timing gets interesting. Close date is set for on or before July 30th. Completion date of new house is September 15th. We have a couple of different scenarios of what to do in the meantime, I'll keep you posted on what God decides :-)

For the first showing, Billy has this idea. We were hungry and wanted to make our regular full breakfast including eggs, sausage and muffins that is the hallmark of our Saturday mornings. We weren't quite ready to do all the errands and I'm very limited on breakfast places with my Celiac. So, we waited in the front room until we saw someone pull up, got in the car waited down the street until they were done and came back home. The adrenal rush of them pulling up and racing out of the house was too funny. We really did need our breakfast :-)



Right now it's 3:30 pm and I'm feeling like I need a nap.
