We tried our hand first at Horton Plaza (Galleria type shopping center) where the fronts of the shops face outside like an Outlet. Due to the rain, that excursion was cut pretty short. It was still very pretty to see.

Leaving there, we passed by a huge Navy Memorial. Such a huge testimony for the thousands laid to rest there who fought for our country. The sun started coming out as well :-)

We stopped by the side of the road to just take in my first great view of the Pacific Ocean.

This is my favorite picture of us from the trip.

We saw the Cabrillo Monument commemorating the first Spanish settlers to California.

From the monument you can see all the way to Tijuana, Mexico.

Up the hill was the first light house I've ever seen in person. It's Point Loma Light House:

We headed next to Sunset Cliffs which I have to say was my absolute favorite part of the whole trip. The views were exactly the picture I had in mind when I was imagining San Diego. Billy and I climbed down from the cliffs to sea level. The view was phenomenal :-)) I took tons of pictures there, here are my top pics. This first one is the background on my computer as of yesterday when I was going through all the pictures I had taken. If you didn't know, I REALLY enjoy taking photos. I took over 1,400 in the 8 days we were there, I KNOW, it's my sickness. I'm so thankful for digital cameras:-)))

We headed to dinner at this little dive off the beach. It was a local place to just hang out for surfers and beach lovers. The recommended dish from Uncle Bruce was fish tacos. I had lobster in mine with a corn tortilla and it was lick your fingers good :-) This was the view from the parking lot, how great is that to have your dinner 20 feet from the surf ????

Everyone tired after a full day.

Looks like you all had a fun trip! My friend Brianna said she saw you all at church! How random is that?!
