Carson

In lieu of my normal 10 pictures on the tenth of the month, I am going to post just one photograph. 

Mommy's little boy

The thousand words that it speaks is of a precious, tender hearted, kind girl who I'm proud to call my niece Ashley. Her family has been expecting a little boy to be born the first week in March. Carson decided to come today. He was born 4 weeks early at 9:10am. Carson Anthony weighed 4lbs 8oz and 17 inches tall with long dark brown hair and beautiful bright blue eyes. He was loved, wanted, and created by God. He was waited on with excitement, preparation and love by his parents and big sister. In the hour he was with his family, oh was he so very loved. He's back with God now and my heart is breaking for this little girl/ grown woman now whom I've known since she was born. I can't imagine the pain Ashley is going through right now. I can only pray for the God of all comfort, grace and peace to be with all three of them, as well as my sister and everyone else who loves Ashley, Tyler, Addisynn and baby Carson. This precious child made by God has a condition called Trisomy 18 or Edwards Syndrome. There are no words that will fill the gap this beautiful human being already has in their hearts. After having a baby grow under your heart in your belly feeling him move, kick, knowing his patterns, wiggle, hiccup, stretch, sleep and awake, you KNOW him. Nothing can fill that void. There is just prayer, silence, tears, respect and loss. 

One day in heaven she will hold Carson again.....
