Welcome to the Spoon

Yesterday we started our little guy on solids. We had a chat with our pediatrician about his growth spurt, his interest and the proximity to his 6 month birthday. We are two weeks away :-) Matthew has been watching us for some time with growing interest as we eat our meals. His sweet little eyes follow the path of our utensils and cups. I would have caved long before now if it wasn't for the Celiac tendency. This last week 4 out of the 6 previous days Matthew slept for 14 hours or more consecutively at night. He also went from 8 ounce bottles satisfying him to it taking 10-12 ounces.

First, we went shopping around for some food. We bumped in to our friends David, Wendy and Emily (little Andy is due soon, we are very excited for them). On the way home, someone hit our car. It didn't detour our day too much other than an overheated car which will now need to go in to the shop once an adjuster sees it.

He didn't push it out and mommy and daddy need to learn to pick up the pace :-)
