Here's our monthly argyle growth picture taken on Sunday night as people were arriving for Small Group. Daniel slept most of the latter part of today and has a slight fever after his 4 month check up this morning.
He now weighs 14 lbs even (40th percentile).
26 1/2 inches tall (98th percentile) Yes, 98th.
His head is 16 1/4 inches (50th percentile)
Here is what's moving and shaking with our little guy:
He can hold his head and shoulders up.
He's more aware of his surroundings and more easily distracted from eating as a result.Not much flusters this little guy sound or activity wise.
He's so laid back and chill.He tracks people and objects well with his eyes.
He rolled over from tummy to back for the first time yesterday. I haven't been able to get it on video
He does bat at his toys hanging from his activity mat.

During tummy time he scoots forward when he's on his tummy with his toes.
He'll push himself out away from us by pushing his feet up against us.
'Circuit' training as daddy calls it with his exersaucer, play mat, tummy time, bumbo, sitting with support in his boppy.

I'm planning to get the jumper out soon so he can enjoy that play toy.Daniel's laughter and smiles are constant, contagious and adorable! He charms the ladies who watch him during mommy's weekly Ladies Bible Study time.He coos lots :-)
Starting to work on his core trunk control. He wobbles holding his upper body on his exersaucer, so we help with a pillow.
He enjoys holding on to our fingers with his clenched fist and being pulled up to a sitting and/or standing position.

He went to nursery during Sunday bible class a couple of weeks ago. I placed him in the bucket seat then stood and talked for a couple of minutes with a couple of ladies to see how he would do. He reached out and held on to the child on both sides of him. It was sooooooo sweet!Sleeps most nights 8 hours, with 3 naps during the day. 2 short 30 minute naps and one long 2 to 3 hour nap.
He nurses 4 times a day ( for the last week) for 30 to 45 minutes at a time. He eats every 4 to 5 hours. He hardly burps or fusses. As long as mommy stays away from eating beans, Daniel is happy.
