Daniel - 3 months

9/9/11- 3 months

Bumbo time

Daniel is 3 months old today. 

Just hanging out

Sleep:

He wakes up once during the night, usually around 2 am to feed. He sleeps beautifully during the day between meals. He goes about an hour and a half awake at a time now.

Developmentally:

He has very good head and neck control. He has just recently started complaining about tummy time.

Daniel no longer likes his paci. His hand and fingers have now replaced it as his favorite thing to suck on and self soothe with.

I have so much hair!

Socially:

He coos almost daily now and it's very sweet.

He constantly watches big brother if Matthew is anywhere near his line of vision.

He has let out a few very soft laughs. 

He smiles very easily.

Personality preferences:

When Daniel is sleepy, he wants to be put down. He does not like to be rocked by us going to sleep.

He grips pretty securely on to your finger when ever he's being held.

He is such a content - as long as he's fed and dry, happy- not bothered by noise- baby. 

I can't articulate it at the moment, but he's definitely my laid back child.

Only likes being in the car if it's moving. Traffic light and stop signs are not his friends.

Doesn't like being cold ( He 'might' get that from me, hehe)

He really enjoys sleeping in the swing, but we keep it to a minimum
with the flat spot on one side of his head.

Hanging with big brother

Food:

He nurses like a champ five times a day. 

He started refusing the bottle a few weeks ago, so we nurse exclusively - not complaining.

Nice benefit to nursing,
not much spit up or burping issues

My love keeps multiplying with each new boy in my house.

Clothes:

He's been in 3 months clothes for a few weeks now. He is wearing size 1-2 Huggies diapers.

This is not a well baby visit month so no stats, just lots of fun pictures :-)

Keeping mommy company in the kitchen while I prepare dinner

He came down with a very minor case of the croup this month. Matthew had a worse case of it. Mommy and daddy both were under the weather as well. Sooo glad our whole house is feeling better!!
