Daniel is smiling so sweetly in the last week. His cooing is adorable. We have been getting out quite a bit surprisingly even in 35 days of consecutive 100+ weather. His baby acne has improved. His skin still has a rough texture but the redness has disappeared. Daniel's really filled out in the last week, he's not quite so fragile. He enjoys standing on our laps and works on his head control that way.
He enjoys his regular tummy time. Daniel just went through a growth spurt over the weekend eating every 2 1/2 hours. He eats very well still using a shield in the football hold. We did introduce a bottle twice a week just to get used to the concept. It gives daddy a chance to feed too.
Daniel has done one 8 hour night stretch between feedings, but regularly it's more 5-6 hour nightly intervals at night. He sleeps during the day very well between feedings through all the excitement- both happy and sad- of his big brother. He prefers to fall asleep on his own instead of being rocked or held.
We are going to watch out for his head direction. Daniel's getting a bit of a flat head on one side that he favors when he lies down.
Our little guy had his well baby visit this morning. Here are his stats:
Weight - 12 lbs 4 oz.- 80th percentile
Length- 24 1/4"- 75th percentile
Head circumference- 15 1/2" -50th percentile
