Our Week in Idaho: Christmas Dinner

Where did I leave off? Let's see, we arrived in Boise Christmas night. Matthew was asleep within minutes of getting in the car. Pregnant mommy and Matthew got to sleep in the next morning. We were sad to miss church with the rest of the family but we both sorely needed the sleep. When everyone got back home, we spent some time with the immediate family staying in my sister-in-law Shawna's house with her husband Tony and their kiddos Eric and Erin. Nana and Papa, Billy's parents also stayed there for the week.

Matthew soaked up all the attention. Rarely did he have less than 3 loving family members doting on him at any one time during the week. Aunt Shawna gathered up a pack-n-play, high chair and car seat for us to use for the week as well as a slew of toys for Matthew. Also, for Christmas she bought him a book and a warm clothes.

That was our main extended family gathering of the week with Billy's uncle, cousins and their kids. We had a wonderful time catching up. That was several people's first chance to meet Matthew. He was very shy at first and eventually was running around, looking up from the floor at people talking and then running away. Our sweet little boy, love that guy!
