Thanksgiving Week 2009

Due to the Holiday, we were able to spend time with two families we don't get to see very often.

The Mynhiers came to our church and we even got out to lunch, our first time with Matthew. He slept through most of it

We went out to dinner with the Watkins. He slept through that as well.

I really enjoy watching our dear friends meeting Matthew and holding him. It's so sweet.
With Wes:

Ashley bringing us dinner. The Webb's also sweetly brought us some dinner this last week, I didn't get a pic of them.

For Thanksgiving some of my family came out and brought food. They held Matthew quite a bit, we ate, watched a bit of football and played cards with the kids. Our new little family of three was very thankful for people making the drive. We were left with great memories and 12 Tupperware containers of left overs. We are still enjoying:-))

Cousin Mark really enjoyed holding and playing with Matthew

We hope you had a great Thanksgiving counting your blessings with family and friends.

Whether it's the colors or his reflection, he definitely enjoys looking:

Funny thing, my soon to be SIL Bonnie made us a diaper cake for one of the baby showers. We just got through after 3 weeks being home all 250 diapers. It was such a relief not to have to worry about diapers for almost a month. Well buying them anyway :-)

He doesn't like to be swaddled anymore. He shimmies out of it and half of his clothes as a result, he he.
Sweet sleepy face:

Our little helper watched as we decorated the house for Christmas the Friday after Thanksgiving. For the record, this picture was daddy's idea. I like it too :-)

My two favorite faces:

And yes, he's not always happy. Mommy rescued him right after she took the pic:
